1943 Came into Scottish Malt Distillers Ltd. (SMD) hands via previous owner (John Bisset & Co)
1965-66 Renovated
1970 Stills increased from 2-4
1985 Silent
1991 Re-opens
1993 Royal Brackla 10 year old launched
1997 £2m refurbishment
1998 Dewars bought by Bacardi
2014 Royal Brackla 35 year old launched to mark 200th anniversary
