We do things a little differently at The Anderson.
Your hosts, Jim & Anne Anderson, have brought their own unique touch from America to the Highlands, where their restaurant with rooms enjoys a rural setting just minutes away from Inverness airport.

Anne trained as a chef in New Orleans at the height of its culinary crown. Expect to find a menu of comfort food from the four corners of the earth. Jim wrote about food & drinks in Philadelphia and New York, and there’s nothing he won’t do to bring you intruiging whiskies, wines, spirits and beer.

Together Jim & Anne have created an oasis of hospitality in the midst of the northern leg of the Whisky Trail.

A country village nearby Inverness. A short drive from Glen Ord, Dalmore, Invergordon, Teaninich, Glenmorangie and Clynelish, but easily accessable to the holy grails of Speyside.

Truly the best of many possible worlds. But don't take our word for it:

"Very individual hotel notable especially for an extraordinary whisky selection."
Scotland the Best

"Gives Scottish ingredients an international flavour."
The Sunday [London]Times

The Anderson

"A beer drinker's mecca."
CAMRA Good Beer Guide

"We admire the obscure. And you don't get much more obscure than this."
Good Beer Guide Belgium

"Lively restaurant-with-rooms."
The Good Hotel Guide

"Takes its pub side seriously."
