1886 William Whiteley & Co Ltd (J.G Turney & Sons, USA)
1947 Electricity installed
1986 Bottled as a single malt for first time
2002 purchased by Signatory

Edradour Distillery Comments
The name Edradour is thought to derive from the Gaelic "Edred dobhar" = "the stream of King Edred".
Last of the original farm distilleries in Perthshire
Still use Morton Refrigerator, last remaining in use in this industry
Smallest distillery in Scotland.
