1877 Cameronbridge merged with 5 other whisky companies to form the DCL (Haig one of founders of DCL and was appointed a director)
1919 John Haig & Co acquired by DCL
1941-47 Closed during WWII
1989-92 Extensive renovation to increase output
2000 Distillery re-opens after a £9m renovation, capable of producing 30m litres of spirits annually
