Location
Whiskys.co.uk off licence is located in historical
Stamford Bridge. The site of the famous battle
which took place 25th September 1066. Where a
Norwegian giant defended the bridge until an English
soldier in a barrel "brogged" him from
below. Harold of England went on to defeat Hardraada
of Norway.
Stamford
Bridge is eight miles east of York, only five
miles east of the A64/A 166 junction on the A
166 scenic Bridlington Road. The off licence is
situated on the south side of the Square on the
main road with parking outside.
